Different shots used in a scene

Different shots used in a scene

Scenes use lots of different shots to portray the event or story, as they give the viewer a sense of involvement with in the scene, which makes the viewer feel immersed and interested in the film.

Here are some examples of shots and why they are used from a scene in the film Fury:

This shot is a close up, this might be used to emphasize on what a character or object is doing. it might also be used to show the characters emotions.

This is a far shot, this might be used to give context to a situation or too show what is happening.

This is a mid shot, mid shots might be used to show what the character is doing on a singular level rather than showing everything that is happening in a far shot.

This is a extreme close up, this shot can again be used to show emotion or to directly pinpoint something that is happening with in the scene.
