Primary and Secondary research

Secondary and Primary Research

Primary research is when you carry out the research i.e. make a questionnaire to ask people, or go and look at items yourself.
The positives for primary research is that you know the source and can trust it however if you re not able to get enough evidence then it could be unreliable.

Secondary Research is when you take someone else's research and use it in your project for example, taking stuff from books or online. the positives of secondary research is that you don't have to waste time finding out the results and then you can carry on with the project however some times the research is unreliable and my be made up.
