Colour Experimentation
I looked at different colours that I could use for my animation and I have decided that I want to use a very calm, kind of beige or yellow colours mixed with brown and black for my main background. However , I have looked at different colours to make different effects or emotions appear.
Here is the original:
Here Are the other colours:
The blue background makes it seem as though it is night which I could use for a couple of the scenes maybe the more serious ones. This is almost a direct opposite of what the original makes you feel, as the original seems as if it is day time.
The red makes the feel that it is sunset or even a blood moon. I feel like a can't really use this one in much maybe just to give the scenes a bit of personality, but not for certain types of moves, although I could say use the original for blocks, the blue for stances and the red for kicks to show what we are focusing on during the animation. Finally, there is the green, which I do feel would not be of any use other than the indication of different types of moves, but if I was doing some sort of fantasy or horror film, then this would be good as, it makes the scene seem as though there is some sort of evil spirit possessing all that is around.
I then had a look at the characters colours I am going to make them a white male (more of a pink) that will wear the white traditional Taekwondo Dobok . I haven't decide what belt colour he will be most likely red, black or white. I experimented with what colour hair he should have and , I came up with four colours to choose from.
Red, Blond, Brown and Black.
Here are the colours:
I feel that either the blond, red or black would be best as the blond is a little too flashy for what i am going for. but deciding on which I don't know so I will do a poll on which too use via a questionnaire on Facebook.
